Dr. Roshmi Goswami
Roshmi Goswami is a founder member of North East Network. She was Program Officer with the Ford Foundation in New Delhi for several years, programming on women’s rights, before moving on to work with UN Women in New York. She is well known for her pioneering work with the women in conflict affected regions of India, including documenting and analyzing the impact of war and conflict on the lives of women. She is currently serving as the chairperson at Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST).
Studied finance and management, Enakshi had worked with CAPART for few years. She worked with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) , Guwahati Regional Office for many years and currently, freelancing to support NGOs.
She is the current Vice Chairperson at Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST).
Ketaki Bardalai is a reknowned social activist contributing to social change programs. She served as a volunteer at INJAZ Qatar.
She was also formerly associated with a number of organisations such as Outreach Division as an adviser, Jagruti – Legislation and Advocacy Unit as a coordinator to name a few. She is currently serving the position of treasurer at Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST).
Ritupon Gogoi is a social development worker with expertise on result based management, youth development, gender and human rights. He worked in Indo-Global Social Service Society, an Indian donor agency, for 12 years. He joined FST as an Executive Director on August 2016. He is well acquainted with the development discourse in India.
Banamallika Choudhary is a feminist, women’s rights activist, social entrepreneur and mother from the North-East based in Guwahati at the moment. She is a partner at Back Benchers Cafe and NEthing – Everything North East. She previously worked with a number of voluntary organisations such as Action Aid, Asia Pacific forum on Women Law and Development, Sangama to name a few. She is currently a board member at Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST).
LH Thangi Mannen
L.H. Thangi Mannen served as a former Nominee Director of Nagaland Pulp & Paper Company Ltd. She is currently serving as the Commissioner & Secretary, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry at Nagaland. She is associated with Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST) as a board member.
Patricia Mary Mukhim is an Indian social activist, writer, journalist and the editor of Shillong Times known for her social activism and her writings on mining in Meghalaya and Khasi people of the state. She was honored by the Government of India, in 2000, with the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri.
Kashinath Hazarika a reknowned social activist was the Former Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer, North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd., Guwahati. He is currently serving as board member at FST.
