Dr. Roshmi Goswami
Roshmi Goswami is a founder member of North East Network. She was Program Officer with the Ford Foundation in New Delhi for several years, programming on women’s rights, before moving on to work with UN Women in New York. She is well known for her pioneering work with the women in conflict affected regions of India, including documenting and analyzing the impact of war and conflict on the lives of women. She is currently serving as the chairperson at Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST).
LH Thangi Mannen
L.H. Thangi Mannen served as a former Nominee Director of Nagaland Pulp & Paper Company Ltd. She previously served as the Commissioner & Secretary, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry at Nagaland. She is the current Vice Chairperson at Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST).
Studied finance and management, Enakshi had worked with CAPART for few years. She worked with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) , Guwahati Regional Office for many years and currently, freelancing to support NGOs.
She presently holds the position of Treasurer and Board Member at Foundation for Social Transformation: enabling north east india (FST).
Ritupon Gogoi is a social development worker with expertise on result based management, youth development, gender and human rights. He worked in Indo-Global Social Service Society, an Indian donor agency, for 12 years. He joined FST as an Executive Director on August 2016. He is well acquainted with the development discourse in India.
Ketaki Bardalai is a reknowned social activist contributing to social change programs. She served as a volunteer at INJAZ Qatar.
She was also formerly associated with a number of organisations such as Outreach Division as an adviser, Jagruti – Legislation and Advocacy Unit as a coordinator to name a few. She is currently serving the position of Executive Director at Shishu Sarothi, Guwahati. She is a currently serving as our honorable board member.
Joshomayee Devi worked as Associate Professor of the Indian Institute of Bank Management , Guwahati. She has been involved in research and training, particularly in the areas of Tribal & Hill Areas Development, Planning, and Micro-finance. She has a number of research projects, a book and a number of published/ unpublished research articles to her credit. She was the member of first women’s commission in Assam. She is currently serving as a board member at FST.
Kashinath Hazarika a reknowned social activist was the Former Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer, North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd., Guwahati. He is currently serving as board member at FST.
Patricia Mary Mukhim is an Indian social activist, writer, journalist and the editor of The Shillong Times, Meghalaya's largest circulating English language daily is known for her social activism and her writings various developmental issues in Meghalaya and the Khasi people of the state. She was honored by the Government of India, in 2000, with the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri. She is currently a board member at FST.
