FST has been mandated to practice philanthropy in the northeast to promote and support forward looking grassroots initiatives towards building of a resilient, peaceful and robust northeast region and in the process to inculcate a culture of organised giving and community philanthropy which in any case abounds in the non-monetised sector of the region’s economy.
