Foundation for Social Transformation (FST), a development support organisation based in Guwahati has recently concluded an intern drive within the organisational premises. Three students from University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya namely Karishma Bhuyan, Pompi Sonari and Mayuri Boruah, Nishigandha Goswami from North Eastern Hill University have successfully completed their internship tenure at FST. Moreover three interns from Delhi University namely Priya Kumar from Bharti College, University of Delhi, Avantika Srivastava from Ramjas College, University of Delhi and Subhrasmita Sandilya Miranda House, University of Delhi respectively have successfully completed their internship and were engaged in allied areas of community development, gender issues, art and culture etc.

This internship drive has helped in exchanging valuable inputs for the organisation as well as primary sources of information on societal issues to work in the long run.

During the entire span of the internship the interns have practically dealt in with the current issues within the geographic of Assam. They have also vividly gained a wide spectrum of experience in the community based issues prevailing in the society.
