Our Program Lead is a development professional with a handful experience of more than 5 years in the sector. She is an alumnus of the Department of Social Work, Tezpur University. She is responsible for the smooth implementation of various projects in different areas of the region. She holds rich experience in community development, livelihood promotion, working with community institutions, human resource management, and working with children. Her core expertise includes capacity building, module development, planning, implementation, analyzing, and project management. Before joining FSTI, she spent a decade with the Aga Khan Foundation (India), where she led programmatic work on livelihoods, enterprise, and key thematic initiatives. She has collaborated with diverse donors, including GFCF, NFI, UNFPA, and King\u2019s Trust International UK.<\/p>

Chandasmita Baishya is a development professional with four years of experience in livelihood promotion, financial inclusion, and community institution building across Assam. A postgraduate from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, she has worked closely with rural and forest-dependent communities and collaborated with departments like the Assam Forest Department, Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission and the Panchayat and Rural Development department. Her strengths lie in project implementation, capacity building, stakeholder coordination, and documentation, with a strong focus on creating sustainable and community-led impact. Additionally, she served as an Enumerator for the Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS).
