The emphasis would be to:<\/em><\/p><ul><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Promote substantive equality at different levels and contexts<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Promote feminist principles across sectors<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Address power imbalances, exclusion, and patriarchal controls over resources, markets, livelihoods, environment and decision-making institutions<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deepen understanding and advance socio-economic and political rights for women, youth, and marginalized groups, especially indigenous women and women with disabilities through collectivization<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Promote opportunities for women\u2019s leadership and agency in emerging livelihood options<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Address gendered dimensions of conflict and ensure women\u2019s participation in peace-building processes at different levels.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Foster women\u2019s civic and political engagement at different levels<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Support advocacy efforts for the implementation of state obligations under national laws and policies and international human rights instruments<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Have a special focus on adolescent girls while addressing gender and inequalities<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Work with men on gender imbalances, patriarchy, and masculinities<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The focus of the theme Gender and Patriarchy will be to challenge patriarchy, bring in and establish women\u2019s transformative leadership by enabling women\u2019s access to and by promoting gender-inclusive spaces in different structures and processes including in formal and informal decision-making structures, policy, and peace forums.
