She has witnessed a remarkable transformation in her farming practices after attending various trainings under the Khutlang project, which empowers the women farmers and sustainable farming practices in the community.<br \/>\n&#8220;I used to rely on chemical pesticides, unaware of the harm they caused to my soil and crops,&#8221; Abeda admits. &#8220;My crops were often infested with insects, and I was worried about the health of the soil.&#8221; However, she learned to make natural pesticides and manure, such as Bokashi, through hands-on training, and things started changing.<br \/>\n&#8220;Now, I prepare natural pesticides at home. It&#8217;s easy, affordable, and effective!&#8221; Abeda exclaims. With her newfound knowledge, Abeda has seen a significant improvement in her harvest. &#8220;My crops are healthier, and I&#8217;ve noticed a substantial increase in yield,&#8221; she shares. &#8220;I&#8217;m no longer worried about the health of the soil or the crop insects, as the natural pesticides have worked wonders.&#8221;<br \/>\nAbeda&#8217;s story is a testament to the impact of sustainable farming practices. Furthermore, she thanked team FST and the training, which empowered her to create a healthier and more prosperous farm.
